In 2001, the City Council approved a new urban planning ordinance to
change the old industrial area called Poblenou into an area of new
activity. Previously, this massive zone equal to 115 city blocks, was
filled with old, run-down, abandoned factories. Now, as part of the new
ordinance, we'll see more and more business that relate to new
technologies, science and knowledge calling 22@ their home. Nido is a
part of that new Zone.
