Who can live at Nido?
We accommodate students from any university, but you should be a student who is taking a full time course of study in London, a student on an organised study abroad programme, a student enrolled full time in a language school, or a student conducting a work placement course as part of a degree-granting programme.

What's the size of the Room and what's in it?
Room sizes vary from 16.2, 16.9, 18.4 up to 20 sqm and prices change accordingly. Each single room has a single bed with under-the-bed storage, desk with light and shelves for books, kitchenette with a 2-burner hob, microwave, kettle, undercounter refrigerator and freezer, sink, and ensuite with shower, hand wash basin, and toilet.
What's not Included?
Bed linen, towel and kitchen equipment/utensils, though you can buy them through the Nido Store. You might want to bring a desk lamp for extra light for studying!
What's included in the fee?
Cost of your accommodation, water, electric, heating, internet access (broadband in room and wireless in common areas), 24 hour security, access to the fitness centre (once you've paid a £10 induction fee), free bike storage.
Do you have laundry?
Yes, we have several washers and dryers, though if you'd prefer not to do your laundry, you can sign up to have your laundry cleaned for a fee through housekeeping.
Will my room be cleaned?
We can offer you room cleaning for a fee by a member of our housekeeping staff. Please check with a member of staff when you check in.

Can I change my room after I move in if I don't like it?
Yes, provided there is still space available, and also different rooms are offered at different prices. It may be that you'd have to pay a different rate to occupy a different room.
What's the Overnight Guest Policy?
Each resident is permitted a limited number of overnight guests on a weekly allowance basis. Guests under the age of 18 years are not permitted to stay at Nido King's Cross. Each week (Monday to Sunday) every resident is allocated a total of 2 overnight guest 'passes'. The overnight period extends from 12am to 8am. Each pass permits the resident to one overnight guest in their room for one night, without any charge. Residents may use Overnight Guest Passes as they choose during the week. However, residents are not permitted more than one overnight guest at any one time.
Can I reserve a room at the 22@ District and Nido Spitalfields locations?
While we are waiting for our reservations system to take future bookings, you can certainly express your interest by clicking on the "Where Next" button at the top of the page. Whether you are an individual student or a group wishing to make a booking at either our new Barcelona location or our Spitalfields location, please note your interest here and we will keep your details in our database for future contact.
Do you have rooms for people with special requirements?
Yes, Nido Kings Cross offers 31 rooms for students with disabilities. If you require an assessible room, please check the box on the online application form letting us know you require a special room. Give us a brief description of your special need and a member of our Res Life staff will give you a call to discuss so we can be sure to accommodate your needs.
Can I have a pet in my room?
You are not allowed to keep pets in your room unless your pet assists you with a disability. Should this be the case, please give us a call to talk about the special accommodation you may need.
Can I share a room with my friend?
Currently we only have single studios available so while you and your friend will each need to have your own room, we can try and accommodate you in the same tower or perhaps the same floor. Please note this request on the online application form or contact a member of our staff to make special arrangements.
Which browsers are compatible with this website?
This website has been designed to work with the following browsers: Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 and above, Mozilla Firefox 2.0 and above, Apple Safari 2.0 and above. If you are running an older browser version the following links will assist you to upgrade to the latest versions:
