Members of Residence Life Staff

This year Nido employed and trained several RAs (Resident Assistants). They are on call 24/7, but they wanted to tell you in their own words a bit about themselves. If you are interested in becoming an RA, please let a member of staff know once you have submitted your housing application.

Anna Francescutti

I am Anna Magdalena Francescutti and I currently study Graphic design at LCC of the University of the Arts and this will be my third year in London. My life has been characterized by time passing by too fast in several locations: Rome, Santiago (Chile), Mexico and now London. I am half Mexican from my mother's side and mostly Italian from my father's. I have lived most of my life in Rome but was brought up speaking Spanish, hence I speak Spanish, Italian and English. I am interested in art, design and people. And even though I don't have a clear vision of where I will end up in the world, I love the endless opportunities and the element of surprise that this implies.

Georgios Chiotis

My name is Georgios Chiotis and I come from Athens, Greece. I have lived for a brief period of time in France, and I have travelled in Germany, Czech Republic and the United Kingdom. I speak Greek, English and French.

I did my BA in Psychology with a minor in Theatre Arts in the American College of Greece, Deree College. During this time, I managed to get involved in a variety of clubs (drama club, film club, photography club, dance club) but what I consider the greatest experience was my last year, where as the President of the Psychology Society I was honored with the award for the College's Best Society, and with the Nikolaos Malliakas (former minister) award for my academic presence in the college.

I am currently completing my Professional Doctorate in Counselling

since it is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of something that is so
unique and original, and that will benefit not only all the students
that live with us, but us as people as well. I am thrilled to be a part
of such an inspiring team, and I am looking forward to an amazing year!

Theodora Michael

I was born in Athens, Greece on October 11, 1987. I stayed there up to the age of 6 and moved to Nicosia Cyprus where I went to high school and completed my A levels. I greatly enjoyed Mathematics and Ancient Literature in which I excelled. As the Greeks said, a healthy mind is a healthy body. I was national tennis player, achieving a worldwide rank of 173 at the age of 16. This gave me the opportunity to travel to several places around the world and experience various cultures.

In addition to tennis, I greatly enjoy music. I was a member of a
teenage rock band during my high school and performed in several gigs and achieved level 6 in piano. Greek is my mother tongue and I can fluently speak English. I am currently learning Italian and French.

I am looking forward to explore London and meet people from all around the world and I will be dedicated to this Nido concept and help organise events for this to happen.
